How cute is this washi tape Christmas wreath? It’s really simple to make and you can easily match it to your own Christmas colours by mixing up the tapes.
All you need is:
A large piece of cardboard. Mine is just cut from the side of a box.
2 bowls or plates – 1 large, 1 small
A variety of washi tapes
Ribbon to hang
Trace around the large bowl/plate on the cardboard and cut out the circle. Place the small bowl/plate in the centre of the circle and trace around it. Cut out this small circle and discard.
Starting at the centre of the wreath, attach lengths of washi tape, overlapping as you go. Continue until you reach the outside of the wreath. You will probably need to fold the edges of the tape over the back of the cardboard as you reach the edges of the wreath.
You can trim any tape from the centre of the wreath with the craft knife. Wrap a ribbon around the wreath to hang.
