I thought it was high time we had another little craft project on the blog. It’s been too long don’t you think?
These cool chalkboard lids take minutes to whip up and are ideal for storing all kinds of goodies, from pantry goods to craft supplies.
All you need is:
Mason jars with lids that separate into 2 pieces. (These ones are from emerald + ella)
Chalkboard spray paint (I used White Knight spray paint from the hardware store)
Separate the lid pieces and place the flat rounds on newspaper in a well ventilated area, preferably outside. Lightly coat with spray paint. Allow to dry for 15 minutes. Lightly coat with another layer of spray paint. Leave to dry for at least 2 hours or overnight. Screw the lids on your jars and label away to your heart’s content.
